“Kool Beans”; “More Sprinkles!” Food Trucks
Concept designs for a Tex-Mex food truck called “Kool Beans” and an ice cream truck called “More Sprinkles!” Colors and fonts played huge roles in both these designs. Traditional patterns, red and yellow coloration, and a big, blocky font gave the Tex-Mex truck a spicy, desert kind of feel. Classic ice cream flavors inspired the scheme for the ice cream truck, and its playful typeface adds some childlike whimsy. The striped pattern on “More Sprinkles” is reminiscent of old-school ice cream trucks and parlors. Both truck designs will spur on the appetite of any passing driver.
